We have used Liscombe Park on two occasions for the receptions following the marriages of our daughters and are very pleased to give this appreciation of the site and its facilities.
The lawns in front of the north side of Liscombe House provide a beautiful pastoral location for marquees, with unobtrusive car parking close by. The site is level, well-drained and very shelyered and the approach up a long drive gives very good security and privacy, very important considerations these days.
On both occasions we had a small marquee for tea and pre-supper drinks and a larger one for the seated event. We found it easy and trouble free to organise the various components necessary for such an event-caterer, marquee, generator, loos and the like-all available locally at reasonable cost.
The Liscombe staff were most helpful both during setting up and in the post-event clearing up and we have no hesitation in recommending Liscombe Park as a wedding reception location.

Liscombe Park House provided a very special location for a 60th birthday celebration-atmospheric, elegant and historic.

I would just like to express our sincere thanks for all your help in arrangeing Rachel's wedding reception at Liscombe. Everyone was so helpful and did everything to make her day so special. The garden was so beautiful and as a venue for a marquee it was perfect. We have no hesitation in saying that this venue for a wedding is the best. We will recommend it to all our friends

A most attractive Elizabethan manor house in an absolutely delightful rural and secluded setting, providing a choice of two excellent sites for a marquee, with ample room for ancillary facilities. The owners and staff were endlessly helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We cannot recommend Liscombe Park highly enough and it will provide us with memories we will cherish for many years to come.
